About Us
Dr. Blake M. Helget
On Why Dermatology
Dermatology has over 3,000 diagnoses, any of which could potentially walk into clinic on any given day. I find excitement and fulfillment in treatment of all skin conditions and look forward to helping in any way that I can. The field also has a mix of surgery, general medicine, and pathology in patients of all ages, which provides great variety to my day. It is an extremely visual field and plays to my strengths as a physician.
On Relationships with my Patients
I see the physician/patient relationship as a team, and it is very important that we are always on the same page. I want to collaborate with my patients to customize the best treatment plan that will get them better. Having the opportunity to interact with patients and learn not only about their skin conditions, but also what is going on in their life, is the best aspect of my job.
