On Why Dermatology
Dermatology allows me to blend my passion for medicine, my strength as a visual learner, with my fascination for the intricate complexities of the skin. The skin is not just a protective barrier; it’s a reflection of overall health and being able to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions keeps me excited, intellectually stimulated and constantly learning. Additionally, dermatology offers a diverse array of procedures, from minor surgeries to cosmetic interventions, allowing me to provide comprehensive care to my patients. Ultimately, the ability to make a tangible difference in someone’s life by improving their skin health and confidence solidified my decision to specialize in dermatology.
On Relationships with my Patients
I believe building strong relationships starts with patients feeling valued and heard, which fosters trust and open communication. Understanding their concerns, lifestyle, and medical history enables me to provide personalized care and tailor treatment plans effectively. These relationships also empower patients to actively participate in their skincare journey, leading to better outcomes and satisfaction, while also creating a meaningful patient-provider connection.
